First time in South Africa? part 3

I bet there are a bunch of people out there just waiting for their flight to South Africa. Enthusiastic people eager to watch the most important sports soccer/football even in the world. My co-worker just came back from South Africa and he had the greatest time. We spent a few hours talking about that beautiful place and I gathered a lot of information which I am sharing with you. I bet this information will be useful for those people who didnt have the time to find out about South Africa but just jumped on the plane!

There are great beaches located jusr outside Durban, Cape Town, Pletterberg Bay and Knysna. Capetonians love to go down to the beach in the summer months. Their favourite beaches are: Clifton and Camp bay beaches where they are able to enjoy white sand; these ones are located at the base of Lions Head, Twelve Apostles and Table Mountain. These beaches are considered of high quiality as there is to be found aquamarine water, open air restaurants, bars, trendy cafes and a streets full of mansions behind the beach.

Outside the cities named above there are many remote and delightful beaches. My friends favourite beach was Coffee Bay which is located in the Wild Coast. The reason why this beach was my friends favourite is because he was able to sit down with locals on the grassy slopes and admire the waves breaking on the beaches below. It was a real experience for my friend as these people live in traditional huts without any amenities like electricity or running water. These people were very kind and even acted as tour guides. My friend got to admire places that he wouldnt have possibly had found on his own: he enjoyed the rocky shore, secluded lagoons, beaches and other secret spots.

He was even guided to a cave where Nelson Mandela hid a massive stockpile of weapons during Apartheid.

I would have loved being there! I really admire Mr Mandela.
